TB Household Contact Screening Study

IRD Global, Karachi & Peshawar. Nov 2025 to Present

First-author retrospective cohort study analyzing programmatic TB contact tracing data from 19,668 household contacts, using multilevel logistic regression to identify which characteristics predict TB disease. Key finding: after adjustment, TB risk was driven by contact-level vulnerability rather than index patient characteristics.
